Wes Graduates from ASU

WES DID IT ! He graduated from ASU, we are all so proud to be a part of this Special Day The whole bunch came down for the Graduation. We were missing the person who would have probalby been the most excited....Gramma Whiting! She started Wes reading when he was 3. she said he was her #1 student. Later after the Celebration Dinner at Texas Road House, we went to see the Temple Lights. It was such a fun time. We watched and listened to some of the carolers. The weather was perfect and the crowd was light. Mylea and Rustyn loved it as you can see. Mylea couldn't decide what lights she liked the best. I love this Photo with the Temple in the back ground. What a perfect place to put you in the right frame of mind for the Holiday Season!

So Long NRF 2009 - Hello Snow Storm from Heck!

What a great time we all had one last photo from the Thomas and Mack. We had so much fun. Wesley gave Mylea a surprise plane ride from Phx to Vegas- wow was she shocked when we picked her up at McCarron Airport in Vegas. Clancey, Dad and Mom got her a vidoe camera to video the plane experience, and the whole NFR deal. She almost drove us crazy with that thing! Wes surprised Merr and Amands with a special Christmas gift of "Phantom of the Opera" An experience I will never forget. If you have the chance to see it in Vegas go for it! The Ventisian does it Right!

Dickie, Earl and Clancey took Mylea Tanner and Cordell to the Circus Circus Roller Coaster Extravaganza, they rode those things all night. Jen says she had the best time watching Rustyn. When Dickie and Earl found out how much it cost to ride the Coasters, they made them ride for over 7 hours. Needless to say the kids could hardly move their necks the next morning. So they were unbelievabely reverant in Church. haha. It was time to head home and it took us over 11 hours to get through the snow storm. It was like 40-45 most of the way until this side of Flagstaff. What a crazy ride. We stopped at a truck stop in Flagstaff to let the heathens run for awhile and Rustyn stretch his tiny legs. We couldn't resist, we purchased these awesome snow hats to "cherish the moment" Friends, Family and Fun, what more can you ask for!

NFR Here we come................

WAHOO headed for the NFR...................The McBrides, The Lunds and the Other McBrides celebrated Christmas a bit early this year and went to the NFR in Las Vegas. WOW did we have fun. We went to the Cowboy Christmas and checked out the Horse Trailer of our Dreams, Mylea Met her name sake Jhette Johnson, he was kind enough to visit with her about her roping and encouraged her to Dream Big.."ya never know"! Cordell and Mylea found Chad Masters and got his Autograph. We went on a Dime, but had the Best Ole' Time! We even foud a church on Sudaty and surprised Earl's Gramma Betty! A great Memory I will have forever!

Wedding Bells

Brittany Rogers to Marry Eric McNeil on January 9th, 2010. YIKES, that's like sooonnnn! Congrats!

Turkey Time in Safford

The boys started a tradition when they were very small. Bringing their famous - Lil Smokies, cheese and Olives on a tooth pick to Gramma McBride for Thanksgiving every year. The catch is you can't buy the fixings until you get to Safford and you have to put them together on the way to her house. It was always funny using the back seat as a prep kitchen for their ordurve's. here they are with My, putting on the finishing touches. HAPPY TURKEY DAY

National Christmas Trees from the White Mountains

They wheeled the Tree into the Rodeo Grounds Arena and had a little program before the Tree headed for D.C. It was really quite a big deal for ole' R.V. Mylea received a seedling from the Forest Service and has a twig from the Tree.

Super Bowl for NAYFL Football

I sometimes wonder why I say "YES". Mylea decided to cheer for the NAYFL Youth Football league. I ended up coaching and the Peewees made it ot the Super Bowl. The girls had a good time and yelled their hearts out but we got beat!
